The journey of AirRobot began with its founders, Mrs. Jolante and Mr. Burkhard Wiggerich, who previously ran a company that developed inspection cameras for pipe cleaning and chimney sweeping. The idea to build a flight platform was born during the development of an acceleration sensor-based image stabilization for an inspection camera.

Our Facilities and Team
To meet growing demand and expedite future orders, we are expanding our team and optimizing our production space. AirRobot operates in a facility spanning approximately 1800 m², with 1400 m² dedicated to production. Our team includes 15 employees in production, warehouse, purchasing, and back office roles. Since 2005, AirRobot has produced over 500 complete drone systems, with approximately 120 systems undergoing service and MRO annually at our facility in Germany.
